How to Earn Community Service Hours
There are lots of ways to earn community service hours. Here's a list of approved activities:
- Assisting any Performing Arts Teacher with any miscellaneous music-related projects
- Work band fundraising activities – when not performing
- Working the TOHS Sounds of the Conejo
- Working the TOHS Sights of the Conejo
- Working the SCSBOA Ratings Festival (when not performing).
- Assisting with the All-District Band/Orchestra/Choral performances
- Assisting with the sales of baked goods at TOHS concerts
- Ushering / Passing out Programs at TOHS Band Concert Events
- Working the City of T.O. Work-Day Project
- Music lessons helping younger students
- Assisting Mr. Payne at R.M.S. or Mr. Blake at L.C.M.S.
- Assisting with any of the Elementary Music Programs
- Performing alone or with small groups for Retirement Communities, Hospitals, Charitable Organizations
- Working Community Service Activities (non music related)

Remember:
Every student can earn up to 5% improvement to the Semester Grade if they complete up to TEN (10) Service Hours Each Semester. The Student Service Hours form is to be completed and turned in to Mr. Martone on or before the day of their class final, each semester. No forms will be accepted after that day for the semester.
