Congratulations to the TOHS Winter Guard
The TOHS Winter Guard (a Section of the Color Guard) performed in the WGASC (Winter Guard Association of Southern California) Championships. In their performance Round of the Scholastic A (SA) Division, they were awarded 1st place, scoring 89.5 (Gold Medal), and 2nd overall in their SA Division. They were also ranked 2nd out of 56 in the entire Prelims competition from all competing divisions on Saturday at Foothills High School.
On Sunday, they Performed again at Long Beach State Pyramid in the Finals Competition and sustained their placement by scoring a 90.0, receiving the Championship Silver Medal. TOHS WG was one of two guard in the entire Finals competition to receive a score of 90 or above in their division. TOHS Winter Guard is ranked 2nd out of 16 in their SA Division in Finals (Silver Medalist) and is ranked 3rd overall in Southern California out of 52 competing winter guards in all divisions for the Finals Competition. They are ranked among college aged teams that compete in this circuit.

WGI is another circlet where we complete and next spring 2013 the TOHS Winter Guard will plan on traveling to Dayton Ohio for the WGI Championship competition. This is an international competition.
