The entire Band program could be funded via Scrip alone if everyone participated.

Scrip

Scrip works because stores sell the Boosters gift certificates or cards at a discount, and Booster families purchase the certificates at face value. This is money you're going to spend anyway - for groceries, for example - so it really costs you nothing. The profit from Scrip sales is divided between the Individual Student Savings Account (ISSA) and the general Booster fund.

Ordering Scrip

Scrip can be ordered in two ways: (1) by using an internet order form or (2) by the traditional paper order-form. Either way, it's an easy way to get the scrip you want. Completed order forms and on-line orders must be placed by 3:00 PM each Tuesday and are usually available for pick-up on Friday. Our scrip provider, Great Lakes Scrip, maintains a very extensive list of vendor's scrip. Remember half of the discount (percentage) shown goes into your students ISSA.

Online Orders

Ordering scrip on-line is really easy. Just sign up and place your order at http://www.shopwithscrip.com.

NEW ACCOUNTS: If you do not have an account with shopwithscrip, it's easy to open one: just click on "Create Account" inside the GREEN BOX on the left side of the screen labeled "Family Sign Up!"
EXISTING ACCOUNTS: If you have an existing account with shopwithscrip, just go to the ORANGE BOX on the left side of the screen where it says "Members Login" and provide your user name and password.

eScrip

Electronic Scrip, or eScrip, used by Vons/Safeway grocery store chain, major credit card companies and many nationwide retailers. It is simple to sign up and the money comes automatically. Friends and family can register and designate your ISSA for credit. Although the percent is small, it really adds up over time. Someone you know is a regular Vons shopper.

Ralphs Club Card

When families register their Ralphs Club Card with the TOHS Band Boosters, 2% of every purchase will go to your ISSA account and 2% will go to the TOHS Band Booster general account. On your next visit, take the Ralphs form in your band orientation packet with the Scan Bar on the bottom along with your Ralphs Card. The checker will scan the bar code on the form to enroll your family for ISSA savings. You only have to complete this process once. On all future visits simply use your Ralphs Card or phone number to save.

Additional savings can be obtained by having your student submit Ralphs Club Card numbers from families and friends that would like to support the program and your student. If you know of someone that does not have their card registered with a charity, they are throwing away 4% of every purchase. The Ralphs card number is on the backside of your Ralphs Club Card and usually starts with 247, 248 or 249 and it is a 12 or 13 digit number. People that use their phone number at checkout can get their Ralphs Club Card number from their receipt. Be sure to register all cards in your family.
