The Lancer Band Field Show for 2019

This fall, the Lancer Band performs a new field show, What is Magic? Our Event Schedule is listed below the show description.

What's the show about?

From sleight of hand, misdirection and unbelievable illusions, to spells, potions and charms, magic captivates us by making us believe in the impossible. Magic stirs the imagination, allowing us to believe that a small boy could become a wizard, or a simple pumpkin could become a sparkling coach. A wand, a glass slipper, a magic ring; these objects conjure up images of fantastic events that amaze and astonish. Magic is all around us, if you only look for it!

“Those who do not believe in magic will never find it.” - Roald Dahl

What is Magic? is presented in 5 movements:

Movement 1 - “Magic is...”

Movement 3 - “Witchcraft”
